Vanessa De La Rosa is one of over 30 grandchildren of Andres y Maria Cardenas and has been involved with the Cardenas Foundation since its inception. Whether it be prepping the past community events, planning the Student Parent Orientation, or playing a role on the selection committee, Vanessa has played all roles from volunteer to past President. For her, the Foundation is a sense of pride for her community and she brings value to the Board by volunteering as the lead event producer of the LA Tequila Fest - making it a staple event within Los Angeles to ultimately be a dependable source of fundraising for scholarships every year.
She holds an undergrad degree from UC Santa Barbara and a Masters from USC. Along with Brian De La Rosa, you'll find them running their construction management firm and contracting business - DLR Planning, while living an active lifestyle with their two children and cheering for the Dodgers, Lakers and Rams.
