Ernesto Cardenas is one of Andres and Maria’s eleven children and knows first hand the morals, discipline and hard work his parents passed on to the family. As Board President, Ernesto brings history and tradition to the Foundation. He holds a Master in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His work in the business field for companies such as AT&T, Pac Bell, SBC as well his voluntary work for the Tournament of Roses and Boy Scouts of America brings a range of ideas that can be applied to the Foundation. He envisions a Foundation that will keep up with the changing times and be contemporary and up to date for the students that it serves.
